Barcelona, Spain 15th February 2010 – Boutique iPhone publisher, Thumbstar Games, today announced details of its first publishing deal. Thumbstar will handle the iPhone development and publishing of the hit DS and DSi title JIGAPIX™. Launched in Q4 of 2009 by Zushi Games, JIGAPIX™ became a huge success in the console market. Now Thumbstar is bringing the iPhone version to the App Store.

The title will contain elements of all three themed versions released last year on Nintendo DS and DSi. Containing over 40 stunning images from Wild World, Wonderful World and Pets JIGAPIX™ will offer a unique experience to gamers of all ages. As well the fantastic pre-loaded images JIGAPIX™ lets you create your own pictures, utilizing the camera feature! You can now take a picture of absolutely anything, and JIGAPIX™ will then create a jigsaw of your picture. This gives you endless opportunities of creating your own puzzles from the pictures you take. JIGAPIX™ allows friends to send funky images between each other to create and solve that secret personal image!

JIGAPIX™ is the first published iPhone title for Thumbstar since announcing its intentions in 2009 to move into this area. Having already worked on the promotion of the DS and DSi versions last year, Thumbstar is keen to be active in the PR of the iPhone version. “We are delighted to be working on this title” commented Martin Kitney COO of Thumbstar Games “The game has huge potential and with the correct promotion will be a great App for consumers of all ages to own.
