Jean Lachance Joins Quazal As Vice-President Of Sales

MONTRÉAL, CANADA, (September 21, 2005) - Quazal, makers of the Net-Z and Rendez-Vous online multiplayer middleware technologies, today announced that they appointed Jean Lachance as vice-president of sales.

Prior to Quazal, Mr. Lachance held the position of Vice-President of Sales at Kaydara, a leading provider of 3D Character animation and motion capture software. His sales and management contributions led to a sustained growth of over 210% (CAGR) in sales over 5 years. In 2004, Kaydara was acquired by Alias, the leading provider of 3D graphics technology and services for the film, video games, automotive and visualization markets.
Mr. Lachance brings a long history of business development successes from setting up research facilities, new market segment developments and sales management with both small and large organizations such as the Canadian federal government, Intergraph Corporation, Intergraph Computer Systems, Kaydara and Alias. Mr Lachance holds a geomatics degree from Laval University.
