Japanese 3DS sales up 20% in week of no new releases
Software chart remains almost static, but Nintendo handheld ramps up again
Nintendo's 3DS has continued its sales growth in Japan, selling an extra 20 per cent during the week between January 2 and 8, hitting nearly a quarter of a million units.
No new software was released during the period, so the games chart stayed relatively unchanged. However, Monster Hunter 3DS did cross the million-selling boundary, becoming the third 3DS title to do so.
