Best-Selling Kids' Book Series Goes Wireless

LOS ANGELES, CA - (November 22, 2004) - Global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: JMDT) announced today an agreement with Nickelodeon and the release of the mobile game based on "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," the best-selling children's book series and major feature release by Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks and Nick Movies starring Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and Jude Law. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2004.

The popular children's book series, "A Series of Unfortunate Events," is a pop-gothic tale of mystery and mayhem that ends unhappily ever after. The book chronicles the misadventures of Klaus, Violet and Sunny, three charming, intelligent, but terribly unlucky Baudelaire orphans who are in search of a new home after their parents perish in a terrible fire. The clueless executor of the Baudelaire estate, Mr. Poe, assigns a series of inadequate guardians. At every turn, the orphans are pursued by the evil Count Olaf and his troupe of despicable henchpersons, who will stop at nothing to get their hands on the Baudelaire fortune.
