Jamdat launches LMA Manager 2006
Codemasters' football management sim goes wireless
Mobile games and entertainment provider Jamdat, in partnership with videogames publisher Codemasters, has announced the European launch of football management sim LMA Manager 2006.
Already a hit on PlayStation 2 and Xbox, with graphically and technically enhanced versions planned for PC and Xbox 360 platforms, the mobile version mirrors the console releases with the inclusion of a number of gameplay enhancements to provide wannabe managers with all the tricks and tools to lead their team to the top of the championship.
Jamdat Mobile Europe's director of marketing, Javier Ferreira, commented: "LMA Manager is an incredibly addictive and popular franchise in Europe. LMA Manager 2006 transforms Europeans' favourite football management game into an exciting made-for-mobile experience."
Designed to immerse gamers in the complex and challenging business of football management, LMA Manager 2006 includes a range of new elements, including a revised training feature which tracks players' training and helps managers control fatigue and injuries.
The mobile version allows for monitoring of players' fitness levels, management of success targets set by the board at the start of each season and use of the new finance screen to raise sponsorships and meet wage demands. The game will be available to mobile operators throughout Europe during February.
