Stockholm, Sweden 2006-03-17

Swedish game developer Jadestone today announced that the company's Head of Research & Development, Tommy Palm, will lecture at this years prestigious Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California.

Tommy Palm has, as one of the few Swedes ever, been re-invited to lecture at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) this month. Tommy will talk on the subject of "Creating MMOGs for Mobile Phones". GDC is the official trade event "for developers by developers" of interactive entertainment. With more than 12.000 attendees and 300+ conference sessions, GDC is the largest gathering of gaming development professionals in the world. It is held March 20-24 in San Jose, California USA.

Last week Tommy Palm's latest designed game, Kodo, was awarded "Best Independent Game of the Year" at the prestigious Expressen Game Awards.

Said Tommy Palm of Jadestone:

"Game Developers Conference is the most important event of the year for all game developers. To have been offered the opportunity to lecture at such an event, not once but two years in a row, is nothing less than a great honor. It is also an acknowledgement of the significance of Mobile Multiplayer games as the next generation of online entertainment."
