The fun and challenge of one of the world's oldest games, charades, has a new lease on life with a technological spin thanks to DVD games pioneer and market leader, Imagination Entertainment.

Imagination recruited the award winning and world renowned Umbilical Brothers to star in the first of a new range of DVD Party Games, the Charades DVD game.
Players interact with the wildly funny Umbilical Brothers as they act out and make sound effects to hundreds of different topics. Players and their teams race against the clock to guess exactly what is being acted out.
Some of the crazy and clever acting and sound effects include a blender, an electric shaver and a train and the all play category will ensure lots of shouting and raucous laughter.

Imagination has plans to release a series of games under the DVD Party Games banner. Some of these include Live Bingo and Derby Day, an interactive bingo DVD game and animated horse racing DVD game, respectively.
The Charades DVD Game is scheduled to hit shelves at mass retailer and speciality stores in September of this year with a recommended price of $14.99. The hilarity and party fun of Charades will make it a perfect stocking stuffer for the 2005 holiday season.
