FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SEATTLE, Washington, May 12, 2008 - The online game development community is fired up for one of the year's most important and influential events, the 2008 ION Game Conference. Beginning May 13th, three days of high-level knowledge-sharing and networking will be offered at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel facing the beautiful Puget Sound.

ION is drawing in hundreds of game industry professionals from around the world, to connect with each other and gain valuable online game development and business strategy information from almost 70 sessions. In fact, over 260 companies from around the globe will be on-hand to engage with fellow attendees. The keynote addresses will be delivered by Won Il Sue, Vice President of Neowiz; John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment; Yat Siu, Founder and CEO, Outblaze and Sanrio Digital and Alex St. John, CEO of Wild Tangent.

Attendees will partake in gourmet lunches and snacks throughout the conference. Networking opportunities will abound, including an early registration champagne reception on Monday, May 12th; the official conference party on Tuesday, May 13th; and organized breakfasts all the way through designed to encourage making meaningful connections.

"Bringing this year's ION to game developers is the continuing fulfillment of a dream," asserted Peter Freese, Director of the 2008 ION Game Conference. "At Evergreen Events we want to demonstrate that you don't have to sacrifice quality of experience when sharing instructive content with the leaders in the interactive entertainment business."

Online registration is now closed, but on-site registration for ION will be available for general attendees only through the duration of the conference.
