Iocaine Studios 'ThreadSpace: Hyperbol' Announced For PC
Atari, Inc to Distribute Action-Strategy Game for Summer 2007
NEW YORK, NY - June 5th 2007 - Iocaine Studios announced today that ThreadSpace: Hyperbol, the game studio's first title, is coming to the PC in Summer 2007. Atari, Inc. and its affiliates will digitally distribute the game world-wide.
Set in the distant future, ThreadSpace: Hyperbol immerses gamers into a persistent universe filled with battles involving tactics and strategy. Players control massive ships capable of firing over 30 unique projectiles in battlefields that support up to 16 players online. With the ability to acquire new ships and customize them to their play-style, gamers are in store for a fast-paced strategy game with intense multiplayer action.
"After the excitement of being a finalist in the Independent Games Festival, we reworked the game a bit and brought it to the next level." commented Jason Fader, president of Iocaine Studios. "We've worked incredibly hard and believe in this game. This all started with just four guys working out of my dining room, getting by on the money we saved up from our day jobs - thanks to Atari, a small team like ours is able to get noticed and show the world what we can do."
ThreadSpace: Hyperbol is currently set for a summer 2007 release for the PC. For more information, please visit http://www.Hyperbol.com.
