IGDA offers VIP incentive for recruitment drive
Chapter which finds the most new members to be treated to mystery guest for local event
The International Game Developers Association is offering extra publicity and a mystery, VIP guest speaker to the local chapter which can recruit the most members between now and Halloween.
The organisation has 81 chapters worldwide, all of which are invited to participate in the event. Ten points will be awarded for a lifetime member, five for a two year, two points for a one year and a single point for each student member signed up. Totals will be tallied at midnight 31 October, 2010.
"Besides bragging rights, the winning chapter will get an exclusive chapter celebratory event with a special VIP host to be announced. We'll also do a feature article in the IGDA newsletter, a mention on the IGDA blog and shout outs on our social networks," said IGDA's acting operations manager, Sheri Rubin.
Membership application forms are available from the IGDA website.
