InfoSpace ramps up mobile games offering
Eight new titles in six months for Europe
Mobile media and entertainment firm InfoSpace has announced its latest line-up of eight new mobile games, all of which have been developed in-house and will be released throughout Europe over the coming six months.
Covering multiple genres including sports, puzzle and pub games, the company's latest batch of dedicated mobile entertainment titles feature a couple of major licenses for branded mobile games from MTV and LeMans.
Next month will see the release of Trickshot Pool, which features both 8 and 9-ball games and over 24 challenging trickshot setups to test the skills of even the most competent players. Also out in June will be Sexy Soccer, where players are put through rigorous training exercises in an effort to please the Sexy Trainers and potentially receive a few tantalising rewards.
August will see the release of the two branded games; MTV Pimp My Ride, which enables gamers to join the infamous "pimper" team and compete over a series of challenges and mini-games to create the best transformation of a junkyard car, and LeMans 2006, offering mobile gamers a chance to tackle 12 gruelling stages of the famous 24-hour race.
Alan Welsman, VP of Marketing, commented: "InfoSpace has the in-house development talent to bring world-class mobile gaming titles like these to market. Demand for our innovative gaming titles has grown rapidly across the world and this strong European line up will provide carriers with compelling content for their ever more demanding mobile consumers."
Later in the year, InfoSpace will be launching several new puzzle and casual games such as the block-stacking Cubis, the quirky Take Yer Meds! and Aquastax, as well as an innovative take on Rugby in Back Attack.
The InfoSpace booth can be found at the E3 Expo in the Kentia Rooms # 6842 and 6846, where a hands-on demonstrations of several titles and further information on the company's future product range will be available to visitors.
