InfoSpace hustles Trickshot Pool into Euro pockets on mobile

London, July 26, 2006 - Pool sharks who can't get enough time at the table are set to get their prayers answered today as InfoSpace, Inc (NASDAQ: INSP), a leader in mobile media, today announced the release of Trickshot Pool, a 2D pool game featuring challenging trick shots and multi-player competitions. The game, which lets players "hustle" their way through 25 different eight-ball and nine-ball trickshot competitions over five levels, will be available to download to mobiles with JAVA from selected operators across Europe this month.

"Never mind Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason in The Hustler, Trickshot Pool delivers more magic than Harry Potter and Hurricane Higgins combined," said John Chasey, Vice President of European Operations, InfoSpace. "Thanks to InfoSpace you don't have to break a Balabushka* or don a pair of Dennis Taylor's special specs to become a pool trick hustler; all you need is a mobile phone and a copy of Trickshot Pool."

There are a variety of game modes including practice and competition rooms where players master top and side spin shots and the curve-ball banana shot that lets you curl a ball into the pocket like a David Beckham penalty kick. In single player mode, gamers compete against increasingly tough AI** opponents on each of the game's five levels. There is also a two player mode that lets gamers show off their pool skills and ball control. Players who complete the competition are rewarded with an unlockable Freetable mode where you can create and save your own trickshot tables.

The game builds on InfoSpace's experience in creating popular pool games for mobile, having already released Steve Davis Snooker and Pub Pool. Available on mobile operator networks throughout Europe, Trickshot Pool is supported on handsets from all major manufactures including Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Siemens and Samsung.

The Trickshot Pool announcement comes hot on the heels of InfoSpace's recently launched Sexy Soccer game which has got players hot under the collar in the run up to the World Cup. These games are two of eight titles being released by InfoSpace in Europe over the next six months including MTV Pimp My Ride, Le Mans 2006, Cubis, Manic Medic, Aquastax and Rugby Back Attack.
