Rising from the ashes of GameDaily BIZ and headed up by James Brightman and David Radd.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK - June 1, 2009 – IndustryGamers, LLC today officially unveiled IndustryGamers.com, the official site that is picking up where GameDaily BIZ left off. IndustryGamers' Web site and newsletter is written and produced by the same talented team that led GameDaily BIZ over the last six years. Gaming professionals will continue to enjoy the same high quality news, features and interviews that they've come to expect from GameDaily BIZ, as well as a free daily newsletter outlining the industry's top stories.

IndustryGamers is led by editorial veterans James Brightman and David Radd, who collectively have a dozen years of experience covering the interactive entertainment industry. In addition to GameDaily, their work has been featured in major consumer and business editorial outlets such as BusinessWeek, The Hollywood Reporter and Xbox.com. Both editors have been frequently cited in top magazines, newspapers and radio across North America, on their gaming intelligence and knowledge.

"IndustryGamers will be an invaluable resource for the video game industry by bringing gaming professionals interesting content for years to come," said James Brightman, editor-in-chief and co-founder of IndustryGamers. "I'm grateful for the fantastic opportunities this incredible industry has afforded me, and I'm eagerly looking forward to providing its professionals with more comprehensive news and analysis. We have very exciting plans in the works for a special IndustryGamers section that focuses on providing thorough coverage of industry insight and market intelligence which we will unveil in the near future."

Industry professionals have always enjoyed and looked to the news coverage generated by James and team for insightful editorial.

"James and his crew are rock stars in the video game reporting world, I've been reading GameDaily BIZ with my morning coffee for years, and really look forward to IndustryGamers.com,” said David Perry of Acclaim Games, Inc.

“I am really looking forward to reading IndustryGamers.com, as James and his talented team of editors have always been excellent sources for industry news, features and specials,” said Dev Madan of Loose Cannon.

"Since the days when I was the Publisher of the GameDaily newsletter, it has remained an industry must-read. The consistently high quality of journalism makes for compelling reading and the straight forward, concise and timely dissemination make it necessary. James and his crew will maintain that high standard; after all, they have the right editorial pedigree," said Hal Halpin of the ECA.

With the launch of IndustryGamers, James and his team will continue to create even more compelling editorial that will benefit and speak directly to all those working with the industry.

IndustryGamers.com officially launched on May 31, 2009. It is not in any way owned by or affiliated with AOL (which owns GameDaily). IndustryGamers is co-owned by Hammersuit, LLC, a consulting and business development company catering to the games industry. IndustryGamers will be attending E3 2009 in Los Angeles, starting June 1, 2009. Industry professionals are encouraged to sign up for the free newsletter by visiting www.industrygamers.com.

"We have been working with the GameDaily BIZ editorial staff for many years, so it's with great excitement that we are adding IndustryGamers to the Hammersuit roster of stellar editorial outlets," said Jill Keil, CEO of Hammersuit. "The video game industry needs a publication like IndustryGamers, where news and opinion are portrayed with professionalism and class. This is a great step forward for our team, and for video game journalism."

The IndustryGamers Web site and newsletter will both provide unique ways for publishers, developers and marketers to directly reach the professional video game audience.
