ESC, the Entertainment Software Charity, has announced the launch of a new games pack for the Xbox, which will comprise three popular software titles sold for £29.99, with the proceeds going to disadvantaged young people.

The pack, which comprises EA's Medal of Honor Frontline, Eidos' Hitman 2 and Acclaim's Burnout, will be released by Microsoft tomorrow (December 2nd) under the name Escape 2003, and represents a significant commitment to the charity from all four publishers.

The ESC, for those that don't know, is a charity established by the UK videogames industry to use the popularity of gaming to help disadvantaged young people by supporting play, training and education initiatives.

"The amount of goodwill and collaboration within the industry that goes into bringing these packs to market is truly astounding," commented ESC chief executive officer Mark Strachan. "It is wonderful to see so many companies pulling together for the benefit of others."
