IncaGold Signs Seven Exciting Games From Developer Microvalue
Douglas, Isle of Man - Thursday 20th October 2005
Games publisher IncaGold announces the addition of seven great new titles from Microvalue to the IncaGold catalogue and 2006 product line-up. The agreement is exclusive for world-wide excluding North America and includes "Bowling Time!", "Mini Golf: Dream Courses", "Creature Dash", "Urban Scooter Challenge" and the three part "Roller Coaster Mania" series of games.
"Microvalue's strong reputation for quality game-play was key to our decision," said IncaGold's CEO Richard M. Holmes. "These titles fit perfectly into our large and growing portfolio of quality casual games, both for boxed distribution, and for our still-under-wraps upcoming digital download service."
The "Roller Coaster Mania" series (under the names "Roller Coaster World", "Roller Coaster World 2" and "The World's Greatest Coasters") alone has sold over 750,000 copies in North America, with the other titles achieving sales of more than 500,000 in the same territory.
"Our focus is on feature rich games that don't require hours to learn or weeks to play, while still rewarding the player with challenges, thrills and fun," said CTO Daniel Aurell. "These Microvalue games - such as "Mini Golf: Dream Courses" - fit that template to a tee."
Microvalue's CEO James E. Neffendorf said, "We are delighted to have concluded this agreement with IncaGold whom we consider to be a forward thinking and innovative company. The relationship will ensure that our present and future games continue to be made available to the public via the latest technological distribution methods."
IncaGold is increasing its robust catalogue of mass-market games and entertainment products for all platforms, and for distribution via in-store shelf-space, mobile phone downloads, or internet play.
