In2Games reveals design and pricing of Gametrak Version 2

For immediate release:

5 August 2005: In2Games, the innovative games publisher and hardware manufacturer, today releases images of Gametrak Version 2 - the new version of the award-winning Gametrak direct motion capture system, launching alongside Real World Golf on August 26th in the UK.

Gametrak version 2 will launch at just £19.99 - a remarkable price for a revolutionary piece of technology - Gametrak can track 3D movement, with no time delay, at up to 2000 miles per hour, making it the most accurate motion sensing technology available - quicker and more accurate than professional simulators costing hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Gametrak version 2 has been designed to be sleeker and easier to use, replacing the original unit's 'foot mat' with an ultra-tough and responsive foot pedal.

Real World Golf will launch at £29.99, and comes complete with a 'mini club' - no buttons or joystick waggles needed - every aspect of your golf swing is tracked in real time - just adjust your swing to pitch, fade, spin or draw the ball.

PowerStation magazine, in their 9/10 review of Real World Golf describe Gametrak as 'more rewarding and controlled than EyeToy', 'a brilliant innovation' and 'family gaming at its best'.

About Gametrak

Gametrak is a revolutionary 3D motion sensing controller which gives users precise and intuitive control in 3D space - unlike camera technologies, Gametrak allows movement forwards and backwards as well as up, down, left and right, and does all this without any time delay or processor overhead. Instead of a complex and intimidating series of buttons and joysticks; fighting games enable users to physically punch opponents using boxing gloves; sports games will users to pick up and play using real golf clubs or tennis rackets; adventure games will become totally immersive as users are able to manipulate 'virtual' onscreen objects with their hands.

The first Gametrak title, Dark Wind, launched on PS2 in October 2004, winning awards such as Leipzig Games Convention's 'Best Of Show'. Real World Golf represents a milestone in sports gaming, freeing users from the confusion of joysticks and buttons, and allowing them to play a real game of golf. Future Gametrak titles include basketball, bowling, party games, shooting, skiing, tennis, basketball, football, action and adventure titles, for current and future games formats.
