IN THE MIX: Featuring Armin van Buuren

Hilversum, Netherlands – 10th  December 2010 – Easy Interactive™ is pleased to announce the launch of In The Mix featuring Armin van Buuren™, the first real DJ simulation game for Nintendo Wii™.

In The Mix featuring Armin van Buuren lets players become a professional DJ as they pick their favourite tunes and mix them with real-world DJ techniques.  In the career mode, budding DJs start by playing simple sets in local clubs, but as they work their way up the ladder they will have the chance to purchase more specialised equipment and play at some of the world’s most exclusive venues, winning kudos by balancing the technical core of mixing with creativity and an understanding of what a discerning crowd will want to hear.

Manual fades and cross-fades between over 60 tracks and remixes, hand-picked by Armin Van Buuren himself, form the basis of the game, with the ability to deploy some creativity and mix in loops and effects on top of the two-track mix adding a much-needed imaginative dimension to the music game genre. Crowd interaction is also included via motion control commands and outside of pursuing a DJ career, players can draw on the game’s library of loops, vocals, effects and percussion to create their own tracks in the studio mode.
