Immersion Games expansion

Co-developer of CellFactor and Monster Madness opens Mexico studio.

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA - August 4, 2008 - Immersion Games, www.immersionsoftware.com

(CellFactor, Monster Madness) announces the opening of a new developing studio in Mexico, the development of new game titles, two strategic alliances and a plan to consolidate as one of Latin America's most important videogame developers and IP creators.

The new studio is based in the city of Guadalajara , Mexico and began operations recently with the objective of providing support to the studio in Colombia, due to the increase of projects in the company. The Mexico studio will become the point of contact for clients and publishers and will benefit from the new Mexican initiative from the government that strongly supports the interactive media industry in the country.

Immersion Games is finishing the development of a new unannounced FPS title that will be released soon and the people inside the studio are very proud of the final result of the project.

A few months ago, Immersion Games consolidated a strategic alliance with the TV network RCN, part of the second biggest economic group in Colombia . This alliance has the objective of supporting Immersion Games in all its projects including exclusive titles for Colombia , Mexico and the rest of Latin America . With this alliance, both companies are also working in synergic applications for TV, radio, films and of course, videogames. Immersion Games is also working an alliance with the biggest videogame distributor in Mexico and one of the biggest in Chile and Brazil.
