Igor The Game

European Web site launched.

Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, and Interactive Game Group, LLC (I2G) announced that the official "Igor: The Game" website is now available in five languages. Http://igor.deepsilver.com provides gamers with interesting facts, and early impressions of the game which will be released for PC, Wii™, and Nintendo DS™.

Besides providing informative details on the game, http://igor.deepsilver.com also offers the first screenshots, a trailer with scenes from the game, and a shop where you can order your copy of "Igor: The Game". Moreover, the 'Create An Igor' section allows amateur scientists to create their very own lab assistant by selecting his physical features. The choices include different heads, eyes, noses, and arms. It is also possible to choose from various backgrounds. The finished Igor can then be saved to his "master's" computer.

The movie "Igor" tells the story of hunch-backed lab assistant Igor, who works for an evil scientist. Igor's secret dream is to become an evil scientist himself, and win the highly coveted first prize at the annual Evil Science Fair. However, instead of constructing a dangerous monster for the fair, Igor ends up creating the loveable Eva. His attempts to try and persuade Eva to act like a real monster lead to all kinds of confusion.

"Igor: The Game" is produced by I2G and Legacy Interactive, and based on the animated movie from Exodus Film Group, distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures.

The game closely follows the plot of the movie. The versions for PC and Wii are action adventures full of variety, where players get to take on the roles of the four main characters; Igor, Eva, Brain, and Scamper. The Nintendo DS version offers players hundreds of different ways to create a truly individual monster, which can then be used to compete against other scientists' creations in an exciting puzzling and fighting system.

"Igor: The Game" will be released for PC, Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ on 05 December 2008.
