igLoader secures the client and extends streaming capabilities

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Poole, Dorset UK, August 8, 2006, Independent UK-based software developer INDIEPATH announced today some major updates to their video game delivery software, igLoader.

The company announced that the new release of igLoader has a host of new security and streaming features, they also revealed that igLoader has been reviewed by IANA and awarded its own MIME type.

What's new?

Archive Streaming - The ability to stream content whilst the game is running. Patch Control - A fully functional patching system to ensure all installs are up to date and well maintained. Sandbox - Secure measures for protection of client machines. DRM - Rivals many in the video game industry. Full integration into the eXigo session play API.

igLoader provides developers with an elegant way to create web games using existing code; it's a content on demand solution, a 'Pay per Play' enabler and a significant advertising platform. The addition of these new features means that the igLoader software is more than capable of becoming the backbone of web-based content delivery solutions. With this in mind, eXigo, which is due for launch shortly, is expected to offer a web-based video game distribution and payment solution that rivals solutions by a number established industry players.
