MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, April 09, 2007-iGames, the world's leading game center organization, today announced its first-ever series of tournaments sponsored by iZ3D, to be held this spring and summer at 24+ iGames member centers across North America. The total prize pool for both events will be worth over $7,500 in cash and prizes.
The first competition, the iZ3D $5K Counter-Strike 1.6 Open Tournament, will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 5-6, and will feature the best local LAN teams fragging it out on one of today's most popular competitive games, Counter-Strike 1.6. Organized by iGames in association with CEVO ( www.cevolved.com), the event will take place at eight (8) elite iGames member centers including:
CyberHub (Levittown, PA)
Euphenet Cyber Cafev3 (San Jose,CA)
Extreme PC Gaming (Temecula, CA)
FunkyLAN (Lexington, KY)
Gigabits LAN Center (Orlando, FL)
New Media ArenA (Marietta, GA)

X3O Gaming Center (Rockville, MD)
The first day of tournament will consist of 5v5 double-elimination matches between all registered teams at each game center. At the end of the day, the top placing five-person team at each of the 8 host locations will be invited to participate in the online tournament on Day 2. At the end of Day 2, the winning team will be awarded $1,500 in cash. All eight teams will receive cash prizes as follows:
