I-Play launches SNK arcade classics

I-Play has announced the global launch of two SNK Playmore classics for mobile phones.

Metal Slug Mobile Impact sees hero Marco deep inside enemy territory, charged with saving the world once again. King of Fighters M2, the sequel to the original KoF mobile title, promises to offer "all the thrills and frenzied speed of the arcade game" and features three different modes.

"The feedback we have received from SNK fans is that they love and look forward to being able to playing these titles on mobile," said Shinya Morishita, overseas marketing manager for SNK.

"I-Play's creative and development teams really captured the essence and fluid gameplay of both games."

I-Play's Paul Maglione commented: " Fighting and combat games are ideal for pick-up and play mobile fun, and work well across a wide demographic."

"The original two titles have played an important role in building I-play's market share in the European and North American markets."
