Hyrule Warriors can't beat Yokai Watch 2 in Japan

Zelda title settles for second place on software charts

Yokai Watch 2 has now survived six weeks in a row at the top of the Japanese software chart, this week beating Zelda spin-off and new entry Hyrule Warriors. The new game only managed 69,090 sales leaving it some distance behind the number one which achieved 118,526.

In hardware there was a rise in sales across the top of the charts with Nintendo 3DS XL still leading the charge by over 20,000 units.
