RISBANE, AUSTRALIA – November, 2009 – 3 Blokes Studios, Australia’s leading Facebook game developer, is pleased to announce the release of their latest Facebook game, Hospital Town.
“In Hospital Town players have fun running their own hospital, hiring their friends as doctors and treating their friends as patients”, said John Passfield, Chief Creative Bloke of 3 Blokes Studios, “We’ve created an environment where players help each other by visiting their friends’ hospitals and assisting in treating patients.”
Hospital Town lets players create their own hospital with a variety of specialty rooms including a plastic surgery, X-ray room, GP room and a psychiatrist’s office. Each room treats different ailments like upset tummy, sprained ankle or nose job. Players earn money by treating patients, which allows them to buy new items and further expand and customize their hospital.
“We’ve grown to over 50,000 players in just over a week and are on track to have over 1,000,000 players within a month”, said Duncan Curtis, Chief Executive Bloke, “Our strengths in building fun traditional games has given us an strong advantage over a lot of our competitors.”
Hospital Town also includes a number of fun mini-games like a spot-the-difference X-ray game, a whack-a-mole style mole scan mini-game and a stomach operation mini-game that requires a steady hand. 3 Blokes is adding new content regularly, including more items to buy and new mini-games to play.
