Hit PSP title moves to handsets
New "aroma phone" to launch with LocoRoco
The new Sony Ericsson SO703i is to come with a pre-installed version of PSP title LocoRoco when it launches in Japan next month.
Released in 2006, LocoRoco sees players guiding animated characters through levels by pressing buttons to tilt the game environment. It was a hit with gamers and with critics, winning two BAFTAs at last year's award ceremony.
Now it's set to come free with the SO703i, although it's unlikely to be the feature the new phone is best known for. The SO703i has a slot for "aroma sheets" which give off scents when the user opens up the handset.
So far there's no word as to whether the SO703i will go on sale in Europe or whether it would also include a version of LocoRoco here.
