History of the World
Protect an evolving Earth from asteroid and alien attack.
Game design outfit, The Mustard Corporation, in partnership with developer Radiation Burn, has just released to the App Store their educational title, History of the World, an addictive tap-em-up compatible with all iOS platforms. History Of The World puts players in the boots of supreme planetary protector: Tasked with stopping deadly asteroids and marauding aliens, players experience the majestic passage of time and witness not only the evolution of life, but – if they protect the Earth for long enough – the rise of mankind, and more!
With skillful taps of the screen, players shatter asteroids as they hurtle towards planet Earth, allowing precious life to evolve in peace. A cumulative scoring system rewards the skillful with lofty high scores if they manage to string together flawless chains of destruction. Such heady heights are difficult to achieve, however. Scores, along with game achievements, can be uploaded and compared with friends using OpenFeint.
If players tire of humanity’s presence on Earth, they can make history their plaything; allow an asteroid to destroy one mighty civilization to make room for another. A variety of species – even aliens – can rise to dominance instead, should the player desire.
History Of The World is available on the App Store for the Apple iPhone™ and Apple iPod touch® here:
