Help Wanted
Has gone gold and arrives in the States on May 12th.
San Mateo, Calif. – April 16, 2009 – Help Wanted, the upcoming job simulation videogame from Hudson Entertainment, is about to begin taking applications as it has just gone gold. Help Wanted is published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American publishing arm for HUDSON SOFT, and will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Wii console on May 12th.
“Help Wanted is a compellation of quirky and fun mini-games that lets players try out wacky jobs like a Haunted House Monster – it’s filled with silly humor,” said Mike Pepe, Director of Marketing of Hudson Entertainment. “We continue to look forward to consumers being able to try out Help Wanted for themselves now that it has completed development!”
In Help Wanted, players can prepare to join the workforce as they try their hand at 50 odd and quirky jobs including an Astronaut, a Dairy Farmer, a Bodybuilder, Clown, Sushi Master, Boat Captain and more! In order to save the world from impending extinction, players need to earn money at the various jobs to buy defense items to prevent a meteor from hitting the earth.
After completing each job, players can then shop for fun and unique items using the money they’ve earned from their daily grind. In addition, gamers can also buy special defensive goods that will help to save the planet or delay its extinction from a meteor. After making purchases, players can also add keepsakes to their displayable collections in the collector’s room.
The game includes multiple difficulty levels that change up the game play elements and a multiplayer feature that allows for head-to-head play with 15 different jobs.
