30 June 2008 – Autodesk will be hosting a series of afternoons with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s (SCEE) Cambridge Studio in association with Wacom. Environment team lead Tom Jones will give an exclusive insight into the making of Heavenly Sword at events taking place during 7-18 July in Moscow, London, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Warsaw.
Tom has worked at SCEE's Cambridge Studio for the past six years with recent credits including 24: The Game (PS2), MediEvil (PSP), Formula One: Championship Edition (PS3) and Wipeout Pulse (PSP). He’s currently working on Killzone 2 (PS3) as Cambridge environment team lead. An Afternoon With SCEE is open to all and as well as featuring Tom Jones’ Heavenly Sword presentation, there will be demos of Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya software, Autodesk Mudbox 3D sculpting software, Autodesk MotionBuilder character animation software, and Autodesk HumanIK and Autodesk Kynapse middleware.

About SCEE’s Cambridge Studio
The Cambridge Studio, award-winning creators of 24: The Game, Primal, GhostHunter and the MediEvil series was formed in July 1997 and has been at the forefront of games development on the PlayStation family of consoles ever since.
The Studio’s latest success came from working on the double BAFTA-nominated Heavenly Sword for the PLAYSTATION®3. Heavenly Sword set new standards for story-telling within games and continued Cambridge’s association with AAA-quality, technically and artistically cutting edge games.
The team in Cambridge is now working on new projects, not least of which is the hugely anticipated Killzone 2, where the studio’s talent has been leant to their sister studio, Guerrilla, in Amsterdam.
