Havok's BAFTA nominations

Ten of this year's shortlisted games feature physics tool maker's gubbins.

San Francisco, CA (February 25, 2009) – BAFTA, the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts Committee, recently announced its nominations for 2008’s best video games naming 10 different games featuring Havok-powered tools and software for a total of 27 nominations throughout 12 of 14 categories - six times greater than any other physics engine. Havok™ is the premier provider of interactive software and services to digital creators in the games and movie industries.

As recognized by BAFTA, some of the best games of the year running on the acclaimed Havok software including Assassin’s Creed and Price of Persia by Ubisoft, Fable II by Microsoft, Fallout 3 by Bethesda Softworks, Guitar Hero: World Tour by Activision Blizzard, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
