HandyGames announces publishing debut

Developer turns publisher for Mighty Troglodytes' platformer

German mobile games and content developer HandyGames has announced that the company will celebrate its mobile game publishing debut with Adventure Boy in Zooloo Land from French developers The Mighty Troglodytes.

The action-based 2D platform game is set in a colourful world full of dangerous creatures and perilous environmental pitfalls, including dense jungles and massive cascading waterfalls.

Players must guide Adventure Boy through the treacherous terrain in an effort to seek out treasure and uncover the many secrets hidden within the game's wild world, fending off attacks from mummies, Zulus, dinosaurs and more.

The game features 11 levels, hordes of enemies and obstacles to overcome, and an adrenaline rush of adventuring such as piloting a boat through a massive waterfall or steering a wayward mine cart through narrow cave tunnels in a nod to Indiana Jones.

Markus Kassulke, HandyGames CEO, commented: "We are convinced that we can support the The Mighty Troglodytes to successfully promote such a funny and unusual Jump'n'Run title and distribute it through our partners. HandyGames has an international distribution network and has more than six years experience of developing mobile games."

Responsible for numerous successful mobile gaming titles including the Townsmen series and its unusual take on football with the streaking game Flitzer, HandyGames has a long history of successful partnerships with leading mobile publishers, operating its own expansive distribution network in multiple territories around the globe.

The new release marks the first game to be published by the company, heralding a new partnership with The Mighty Troglodytes, a French mobile game developer established in 2004 to focus on quality Java games and entertainment.
