Hands-On Mobile announces new executive hire
Former EA exec joins mobile games and entertainment publisher
Hands-On Mobile has announced the appointment of Keith McCurdy, who joins the firm as president of studios and products, bringing more than 20 years of executive management experience in electronic entertainment publishing and development to the role.
McCurdy most recently served as president and CEO of mobile games publisher Blaze Entertainment, and has previously served for ten years in numerous roles at publishing giant Electronic Arts.
During his time with EA, McCurdy served as VP of product development, VP of technology, VP of online and director of the Advanced Technology Group. Additionally, the industry veteran was responsible for the creation of the publisher's online division and led the company's business strategy and product efforts to create EA's successful online business.
Jonathan Sacks, Hands-On Mobile's president and CEO, commented: "Keith is an experienced executive who has demonstrated his ability to bring vision to the mobile entertainment space. His deep experience in games will ensure our objective of delivering the highest-quality games to our customers."

In his new role with Hands-On, McCurdy will be responsible for the company's worldwide games and product strategies, including the management of all development studios and relationships with global licensing partners.
