Eurogamer has unveiled the interviewees for its third instalment of LiveText community events - Bungie Studios production director Jonty Barnes and writing lead Frank O'Connor will be interviewed live by the site's readers on Friday, December 7 at 3pm GMT.
Barnes and O'Connor follow in the footsteps of Lionhead Studios head Peter Molyneux, who answered questions from the community for nearly two hours last Friday, and Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells who explored his game design principles and the strengths and weaknesses of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for PlayStation 3.
Fresh from their work on Halo 3 - already a multi-million-seller on Xbox 360 - Barnes and O'Connor are eager to get going.
"I'm really looking forward to being grilled by Eurogamer readers on Friday. When I lived in the UK, it was one of my favourite gaming sites. It always had the reputation as being hard yet fair. I expect nothing less from its readers on Friday!" said Barnes.
"Eurogamer readers have really embraced the LiveText concept since Evan helped us introduce it last month," said Eurogamer deputy editor Tom Bramwell.
"Not only does it give them the chance to speak directly to the people making the games they buy and cherish, but it allows them to direct the interviews down lines that formal press affairs tend to ignore. Last week we learnt much about Peter Molyneux that journalists have failed to uncover, and we hope the same will be true of Jonty and Frank, whose latest game is one of the defining releases of this year."
Eurogamer's LiveText interview system allows readers to submit questions live to developers through a moderator. Answers are then relayed back to the web site in real time as they are answered, allowing users to view them without having to hit the refresh button in their web-browser.
