GUTS
Slabovia's communist leader hails new 59p price.
General Schmerdiakov, the lovable ruler of Slabovia, the last communist dictatorship in Europe, has issued another public statement following GUTS’ elevated status as a ‘new and notable’ on the App Store and its celebratory price drop to 59 pence. GUTS is the first iPhone and iPod Touch game to be commissioned by a communist state and was released on the 10th November 2009.
General Schmerdiakov’s statement in full:
“Comrades! Today is a momentous day in the history of Slabovia, as GUTS, the glorious retelling of my miraculous medical operation, has been highlighted as a game that is both new and notable on the App Store. This gesture of acceptance of our excellent taste in 8-bit game design means that GUTS has struck a chord amongst the decadent, simpering Westerners. In return, I have decreed a price drop for GUTS, as I have already doubled my personal fortune since the game’s launch and at 59p, GUTS is sure to dominate the entire world. For the citizens of Slabovia, I decree that we must stand proud, continue to buy this game and enjoy this game. Or be punished. That is all.”
GUTS is available from the App Store now, priced at 59p or 99 cents.

About Slabovia.tv:
Slabovia.tv is an online representation of the Slabovian State Communications Network and its various media output. General Schmerdiakov launched slabovia.tv on 7 March 2008 to celebrate 60 years of "glorious repression" in Slabovia. He believes it is "an opportunity" for the world to look upon his leadership as an example, and for it to see how great The People's Republic is.
The Slabovian State Communications Network is notoriously fickle, particularly in its broadcasting departments, and does not tolerate programming content that it deems non-Slabovian or does not meet with the General's approval.
Due to the high expectations of all televisual output, no TV commissioner in Slabovia has survived in the role for more than six months. If you have any complaints about the current service please Contact Us.
It has been suggested that Slabovia.tv has business ties with independent Scottish Television Production company, Tern TV, and the mighty British broadcaster Channel 4. We vehemently deny any such association.
