Gurn-tastic Gametart Competition takes UK by Storm

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

23/11/06

A competition run by Gametart Direct, the stupidly cheap online games retailer, has taken the UK's gaming population by storm.

Gamers send in pictures of themselves or their mates pulling funny faces while playing on their consoles in order to win free money to spend at GametartDirect.com.

The competition was originally set up to promote Gametart Direct's ludicrously cheap deals this Christmas.

Rob Savin, Marketing Manager at Gametart Direct, says, "it seems to be a bizarre matter of pride more than anything else - people seem proud of the fact that they pull the best (or should that be worst?) faces in Britain! Of course, there are a fair few people wanting to embarrass their mates too by sending in pictures of them while they're deep in concentration! It's all good fun and we've had some classics."

To get in on the action and give yourself a chance to win some free money from Gametart Direct, send your pictures to help@gametart.com. If you're sending a picture of someone else you should get his or her permission first.

All pictures can be viewed at www.gametartdirect.com/gurn. Just follow the link to the Gurn-tastic Gametart Competition.
