Rolling Stones and Maroon 5 this time around.

Wednesday 19th August/... Gamers across the globe will continue to play along to the very best in international music across a diverse range of genres with new playable tracks from Activision Publishing, Inc.’s (Nasdaq: ATVI) Guitar Hero® 5, DJ Hero™ and Band Hero™ offerings.

Five live downloadable tracks from the 1969 concert by The Rolling Stones will be digitally released for Guitar Hero 5, to coincide with ABKCO ‘s 40th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set release of GET YER YA-YA’S OUT. In Europe, from launch day through January 6, 2010, “Satisfaction (Live),” “Under My Thumb (Live)” and “I’m Free (Live)” will be released as singles exclusively via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system. Two additional live tracks, “Prodigal Son (Live)” and “You Gotta Move (Live)” will also be available at launch as downloads on Xbox LIVE®, the PLAYSTATIONStore for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection for Wii™.

Bringing the excitement and energy of the club to living rooms across the world with DJ Hero are three of the biggest European superstar DJ’s, Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk and Tiësto. The three DJ powerhouses will be featured in a variety of on-disc DJ Hero mixes including Paul van Dyk “Nothing But You” vs. Sandy Rivera “I Can’t Stop” and Benny Benassi “Satisfaction” vs. Tiësto “Elements Of Life.”

As part of the hottest lineup of hits in Band Hero , Adam Levine, frontman and singer of Maroon 5, will be contributing his signature moves by appearing as an in-game character, and the ever popular “She Will Be Loved” single from the acclaimed Songs About Jane album.
