Guilty Gear Isuka Screens: Punch in at the Factory to Customize your Guilty Gear Character
Sammy Studios has released new screen shots and information to introduce Robo Ky II Factory Mode, the exciting new customization mode in "Guilty Gear Isuka." Robo Ky II Factory Mode allows players to modify a new character called Robo Ky II by programming him with moves and combos taken from other Guilty Gear characters. The brand new mode is among a set of feature firsts that promises to take the latest sequel in the acclaimed 2D fighting series to another level. "Guilty Gear Isuka" also introduces simultaneous 4-player fighting with team and free-for-all battles, and Boost Mode, a 2-player action game that delivers the first-ever side-scrolling 'beat 'em up' set in the Guilty Gear universe.
To create their customized Robo Ky II in Factory Mode, players earn points by playing a special variation of Boost Mode called Scramble. The points are used to buy moves and combos from an arsenal of over 50 attacks, giving their reprogrammed Robo Ky II the ability to perform virtually all major moves from every fighter on the Guilty Gear roster. In addition to equipping moves, Robo Ky II Factory allows players to customize their character's base powers, such as attack, defense, jump height, recovery time and tension recovery speed, among others. The mode does provide an automatic integrity system to bring balance to customized fighters, allowing certain attributes to be raised only if a corresponding ability is lowered.
"Guilty Gear Isuka" promises to combine exciting new features with trademarks that have made the series the premier 2D fighter. Fast-paced precision fighting, pixel-burning special effects and an out-of-this-world cast designed by Daisuke Ishiwatari return, while new characters, all-new fight arenas and a memorable new Rock & Metal soundtrack pile on the upgrades. "Guilty Gear Isuka" is slated to release on PlayStation 2 in fall 2004.
