Greystripe lands Hands-On games
Seven award-winning titles to be made available for free with ads
Mobile games distributor Greystripe has signed a deal with Hands-On Mobile to make seven of the company's games available, including Call of Duty 2 and Top Gun: Air Combat.
The titles will all be free to consumers, with money being made via advertising - which will be handled by Greystripe's AdWRAP network.
Other titles included in the deal are Lego Bricks, World Poker Tour: 7 Card Stud, True Crime: Streets of LA, Pro Bowling and Sudoku Garden.
There is no indication as to whether this will herald the start of a wider deal between the two companies, but if recent research for traditional games also holds true for mobile games, it may open up the market and help to make mobile game downloads more popular.
