Grand Theft Auto IV

Gamercast Network Pirate Radio podcast launched.

LIBERY CITY, NY, April 28, 2008 – While the world eagerly awaits a chance to set foot in the criminal depths of Liberty City, Gamercast Network, a pioneer network in the community podcasting arena, is preparing an invasion of its own. As part of the Grand Theft Auto IV launch, Gamercast Network is pleased to announce the launch of Gamercast Network Pirate Radio, a new underground radio network for the residents, workers, and Waste Management Officials within Liberty City. Gamercast Network Pirate Radio is a free service provided by the member podcasts of the Gamercast Network, and can be found online at http://gta.gamercastnetwork.com

Gamercast Network Pirate Radio launches for Grand Theft Auto IV this Tuesday, April 29th, in conjunction with the launch of the retail game for the Xbox 360 and the PLAYSTATION 3. GNPR presents a new audio outlet for the scum and villainy of Liberty City, offering them their first alternative audio solution to the clutter of Grand Theft Auto IV's FM airwaves. Gamercast Network Pirate Radio consists of five unique shows, each dedicated to bringing a unique voice to Liberty City.

As part of its launch, Pirate Radio will offer five separate shows for listener enjoyment and aural fixation. WGEK, hosted by Jay and Parris, discusses the latest geekery and retro movie goodness as the dorky pair broadcast from the depths of a Liberty City comic book shop. Baggins FM WGTR, presented by hosts Godfree, JVB, and Peterocc and mixed by Wrekonize, is the #1 Underground Hip Hop radio station in Liberty City. WSGR, helmed by Doc and Lono, will offer a humorous and sardonic look at current events within Liberty City. WVGS brings you all the hits with their "Super Sounds of the Seventies" weekend. WPGR, the hottest college station in Liberty City, hails from Brohan Community College (a.k.a. The Depths of Hell) and señor JVB bashes your brains with the beastliest, savagest, heaviest Metal ever.

Gamercast Network Pirate Radio presents the first alternative audio outlet for players and enthusiasts of Grand Theft Auto IV. GNPR is available exclusively at http://gta.gamercastnetwork.com.
