Gran Turismo debuts atop Australian charts
Sony's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has taken the top spot on the Australian sales charts in its debut week
Sony's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the PlayStation 3 has taken the top spot in Australian retail sales during its debut week according to data released by GfK Australia.
Games for Nintendo platforms made up the majority of the chart, with Brain Training and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - both for the DS - in the second and third spot.
Last week's top-selling game - Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - dropped to sixth place. Rounding out the top ten was Sony's recently-released God of War for the PSP.
For the week ended March 30, the top ten best-selling games were:

- 3. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (DS)
- 4. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock double pack (Wii)
- 5. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3)

- 7. Mario Party 8 (Wii)
- 8. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock bundle (360)
- 9. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
- 10. God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP)
