GOT GAME ENTERTAINMENT TO PUBLISH "BAD MOJO"
More than eight years after its initial release, cult classic "roach game" for PC and Mac lives again
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Weston, CT - October 13, 2004 - In the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust only two things will survive: cockroaches and this game about cockroaches. Originally developed by Pulse Entertainment of San Francisco and released in 1996, "Bad Mojo" quickly evolved into a cult classic for fans and critics alike, lauded for its unique storyline, haunting graphics and design. Today, Got Game Entertainment announced the re-release of the award-winning "Bad Mojo", for PC and Mac, with updated technology for current operating systems and special bonus features, including a behind the scenes look at the making of the game.
A PC Computing MVP Award winner and Macworld Game Hall of Fame inductee, among a myriad of other bestowed honors, "Bad Mojo" might be succinctly described as the end result if David Lynch made an adventure game. In this uncommon tale, "mad scientist" entomologist Roger Samms has been temporarily turned into a cockroach, leading to gritty discovery and exploration that sucks you in with great visuals, and keeps you playing with a poignant story. Clever obstacles bar your progress in the dark and intricate world of a dilapidated San Francisco building.
"Through a series of events almost as unique as the game, Got Game had the good fortune to rediscover this cult classic," said Howard Horowitz, President of Got Game Entertainment. "Working with the original developers, we are updating the technology and adding special bonus features for an even fresher roach game."
"Bad Mojo" for both PC and Mac, is scheduled for release November 2004. The game's official website, www.BadMojoRedux.com, will launch shortly.
