College Park, Md. – Goozex, Inc., the #1 online video game and movie trading community, released its annual review of the most member requested video games and movies. The list is a cumulative demand total produced by Goozex members that added items to their “request queue” in 2010.
Perhaps a surprise to some, the overall most requested title belonged to the PlayStation 3’s Heavy Rain title published by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Similarly, Alan Wake, published by Microsoft, was the fifth most overall requested title on Goozex in 2010. The immensely popular titles Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops were noticeably absent from the top 10 most requested list, most likely because of their “must own” status reflected in their opening week sales figures.
2010 video game demand showed more parity between Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3. Nintendo Wii titles did not make the top 10 most requested list. Titles released on the Blu-Ray movie platform continued to see the most demand on Goozex in 2010.
