The Golden Joysticks have been the ultimate accolade in gaming since 1982. When the Golden Joysticks were first dished out – the Spectrum 48k was considered next-gen and the closest UK gamers got to the internet was Teletext.
In 2008, votes were cast for the likes of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Guitar Hero III and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Will 2009 see the latest Call of Duty game walk away with another armful of awards? Should Killzone 2, Halo ODST and FIFA make it into the rankings this year?
