GlobalFun signs new deal with Adult Swim

Mobile game based on The Brak Show coming

Mobile content developer and publisher GlobalFun has signed a new deal with comedy animation broadcaster Adult Swim to develop a series of games for mobile phones.

That will include a game based on TV programme The Brak Show, described as "a sim/social type of game in the vein of The Sims". GlobalFun will distribute the title to its carrier and B2C in selected markets.

"The Brak Show is one of Adult Swim's leading programmes and we believe this show can work well on mobile," said Alan Musa, channel manager for Adult Swim.

"GlobalFun have done a fantastic job translating the spirit of the show to a mobile platform which will complement Adult Swim distribution."

GlobalFun CEO Marcus Johansson added, "The properties of Turner and the way the creative process is being approached suits us very well as a game development company. We see this as a solid first step in our future dealings with Turner both from development and distribution point of view."
