Girls Mode 3 beats Dying Light to Japanese #1

3DS sequel sells 55,000 in debut week on charts

It's an all new top three on the Japanese software chart with Girls Mode 3: Kirakira Code leading the pack at number one. The ladies managed to beat PS4 zombie adventure Dying Light, which entered at two, by almost 30,000 sales.

In hardware all consoles saw falls in sales compared to last week. PlayStation Vita pushed ahead of the New 3DS XL to take the number two spot, just behind its big brother the PlayStation 4 at number one.
