About Marcus Trescothick
England and Somerset star Marcus Trescothick (born 1975) is the only Englishman to feature in the International Cricket Council's Top 10 Test Batting Rankings (Source: www.icc-cricket.com, 1st May 2006). Trescothick was the second-highest scoring batsman of the recent Ashes 2005 series and, as part of the winning England team, was awarded the MBE. He has scored more hundreds in One Day Internationals than any other English batsman.
