German Charts: Mario leaps to the top

Nintendo DS title Dr Kawashima's Brain Training proves the value of sustained advertising, sitting at number two in the charts over a year since it was released, while exclusive branding helps EA's The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Accessories to number three.

Sony's SingStar Pop Hits is at number four this week, with World of Warcraft at number five and Disney's Anno 1701 DS at six.

Codemasters' rally franchise Colin McRae DIRT is at number seven in Germany while New Super Mario Bros. at number eight is another strong DS title.

WOW expansion pack The Burning Crusade is nine, with Animal Crossing: Wild World at number ten.
