Gen Con And Video Games Live Team Up To Bring Unique Concert Performance To The Masses
Gen Con Indy To Host Popular Video Game Concert Event
Indianapolis, IN - June 19, 2006 - Gen Con
LLC today announced that it will feature the ultimate in
video game entertainment, Video Games Live. With Video Games
Live, fans experience an immersive concert featuring music
from the biggest video games of all time performed by some of
the nation's most respected orchestras and choirs in this
case the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Two innovative and
interactive Video Games Live concerts featuring music from
the biggest video games of all time will be performed Friday
and Saturday, August 11 and 12, at 8 p.m. at the Hilbert
Circle Theatre. These special performances will be presented
in conjunction with the Gen Con Indy Convention that will be
held in Indianapolis August 10-13 at the Indianapolis
Convention Center.

Last year Gen Con conventions drew more than 100,000
attendees (turnstyle count) in 2005. Video Games Live will
feature exclusive video footage and music arrangements,
synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic
percussionists, live action and unique interactive segments
to create an explosive one-of-a-kind entertainment
experience.

Video Games Live is a complete celebration of the video game
industry which includes pre- and post-show festival

symphonic music through performances at the highest artistic

Gen Con Indy will be open to the public Thursday, August 10
