"Every Gun Has a Story" video documentary released.
LONDON - 17th September, 2008 - Today, Microsoft releases “Every Gun Has a Story,” the second instalment in a series of video documentaries that showcase the development of “Gears of War 2.”
“Every Gun Has a Story” features commentary about one of the core pillars of the game: the weapons. In the vidoc, Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski, senior producer Rod Fergusson and lead artist Chris Perna talk about the inspirations for the weapon design in “Gears of War 2” (Vietnam War era, “Predator”), their favourite weapons and the new takedowns created for the sequel.
