Sony Pictures Digital, Microsoft, I-play, Digital Chocolate, Qualcomm and Nvidia are just some of the companies signed up for GDC Mobile 2007, taking place in Las Vegas on March 5th and 6th.

The event will host over 50 lectures, keynotes, panels and roundtables looking at various aspects of the medium, as it runs alongside the traditional Game Developers Conference.

"The objective for GDC Mobile, as it is for the entire GDC, is to provide a program designed primarily to empower individual game creators with hands-on development details and unveilings of bold breakthroughs," said Jamil Moledina, GDC's executive director.

"The GDC has grown to become the world's largest game industry-only event and GDC Mobile has quickly stamped its claim as the leading conference dedicated to mobile interactive entertainment development," he added.

Other companies confirmed to attend the event include Sonic Network, Gamevil, Mofactor, G3 Studios, RealNetworks, ATI, ARM, Texas Instruments, Ericcson and Motorola.
