Gazillion hires Microsoft veteran as vice president of studios

Bungie and FASA executive joins Marvel Universe publisher

MMO publisher Gazillion Entertainment has hired former Microsoft veteran Stuart Moulder as vice president of studios.

At Microsoft Moulder was responsible for acquiring and managing development studios including Bungie, Ensemble and FASA.

"Stuart is widely recognised as an industry leader with a wealth of experience managing teams who have developed multiple blockbuster titles," commented Rob Hutter, CEO of Gazillion. "We’re pleased that Stuart has elected to contribute his deep game industry expertise and proven game development leadership."

Gazillion revealed its MMO plans earlier this year, and owns four development studios focusing on massively multiplayer products – LEGO Universe creator NetDevil, Marvel Universe team Gargantuan, casual-focused outfit The Amazing Society and Slipgate Ironworks.

"I’m thoroughly excited about the chance to join the team at Gazillion Entertainment," said Moulder.

"The mass market MMO space is adding new gamers at a stunning pace and, with the team and titles already in place at Gazillion, the company is well positioned to contend for leadership within the market space in the years ahead."
